So, you want to build-a-booty? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Squat challenges are not new, a quick search on Google will pull up hundreds of challenges that involve squatting almost every day for an established period of time. The goal is to achieve a bigger and better toned butt! Now, while we at Increase the Peach are all about accentuating the gluteus maximus, the goal of our squat challenge is to get you better at squatting.
But why, you ask? Well because squats aren’t just good for your glutes. They’re a great total body exercise. The ability to perform a squat with proper form will not only work your butt and thighs but your core, hips, hamstrings, calves, and back. The benefit of performing a compound movement such as a squat is that you’re targeting several muscle groups, which then increases the production of anabolic hormones, which, (if you didn’t know) helps with fat loss and building muscle which gives you that ‘toned’ look. <—For everyone who’s ever told us “I just want to look toned.”
So, without boring you with the many wonders of the squat, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of this 30-Day Squat Challenge.
